What Chabi collects, why, and who sees it.

Updated October 2026

What we collect

  • Your account. Your email address. If you sign in with Google, Google also shares your name and profile picture; Chabi only uses your email.
  • Apps you allow. Which apps you've let use your plan, and when.
  • Usage. For each AI request: the app, the model, how many tokens it used, its cost and the credits charged. We do not store your prompts or the replies.
  • Server logs. Time, address requested, result and your account id. No message content.

How we use it

To sign you in, run your AI requests, keep track of your credits and limits, show you your usage, and stop abuse. Later, usage also decides how subscription revenue is shared with the apps you use.

Who sees it

  • Apps you allow get a token for your plan and see your display name, if you've set one on your account page. They don't get your email or see your other apps.
  • AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) receive your prompts to produce the reply, under their API data policies.
  • Services that run Chabi: Supabase (accounts and database), Upstash (credit balances), Railway (hosting), Resend (sign-in emails) and Google (if you sign in with Google).

We don't sell your data.

Your choices

Remove an app's access anytime on your account page; it's cut off immediately. To delete your account and its data, email hello@chabi.dev.
